Why a site about prayer?

The purpose of this site is to encourage us to each go deeper in our prayer life. One way that we do that is by praying together. Another way we do that is by praying individually yet collectively on the same prayer themes. Our hope is that as we share prayers and reflect on them and pray over them at the same time in our individual lives, the Holy Spirit will speak to each of us and allow us to encourage and edify one another in prayer.

Pentecost prayer

O God, who on this day taught the hearts of your faithful people by sending to them the light of your Holy Spirit: Grant us by the same Spirit to have a right judgment in all things, and evermore to rejoice in his holy comfort; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

The Day of Pentecost weekly collect from the Book of Common Prayer

  3. Holy Spirit, I desire a right judgment in all things. Thanks be to the Father, Soj and Spirit, our incredible Triune God! Hallelujah! Amen.

  4. Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen

  5. You sent your Spirit to dwell in your people forever. What a privilege! Just thinking about it astounds me. Never let me take my access to the Holy Spirit for granted. Thank you thank you thank you! Amen.
