Why a site about prayer?

The purpose of this site is to encourage us to each go deeper in our prayer life. One way that we do that is by praying together. Another way we do that is by praying individually yet collectively on the same prayer themes. Our hope is that as we share prayers and reflect on them and pray over them at the same time in our individual lives, the Holy Spirit will speak to each of us and allow us to encourage and edify one another in prayer.

Prayer of Confession

Most merciful God,
we confess that we have sinned against you
in thought, word, and deed,
by what we have done,
and by what we have left undone.
We have not loved you with our whole heart;
we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves.
We are truly sorry
and we humbly repent,
for the sake of your Son Jesus Christ,
have mercy on us
and forgive us;
that we may delight in your will,
and walk in your ways,
to the glory of your Name.
Amen.

    Father, I have sinned, I continue to sin, you are endlessly patient and forgiving. Thank you for salvation through your son, my savior, Jesus. I bow before him and lift his name in adoration, that you Father may be glorified. Amazing, you are amazing. Amen

    Every moment I confess, repent, and cast off all that hinders. I empty myself through your gift of forgiveness and receive the richest gift of grace... your Son himself, Jesus! How precious is your love Abba, how precious! Amen
