God of glory,
your splendor shines from a manger in Bethlehem,
where the Light of the world is humbly born
into the darkness of human night.
Open our eyes to Christ's presence in the shadows of our world,
so that we, like him, may become beacons of your justice,
and defenders of all for whom there is no room. Amen.

God of glory, your splendor shines as the light of the world broke open the darkness of this world. Open my eyes to Christ's presence in the shadows of this life. Make me also a beacon of justice for those who need hope and healing. Thank you l, Jesus, that you are the light of the world! Amen.

Jesus, fill me with your light so I may be your light to the world! Jesus, I pray you'd shine bright in our nation this Christmas! Shine bright to draw all people to yourself! Shine bright to awaken the hearts of your followers! Shine bright in me and all who love you! Light of the world, we love and enjoy your light!!
