Why a site about prayer?

The purpose of this site is to encourage us to each go deeper in our prayer life. One way that we do that is by praying together. Another way we do that is by praying individually yet collectively on the same prayer themes. Our hope is that as we share prayers and reflect on them and pray over them at the same time in our individual lives, the Holy Spirit will speak to each of us and allow us to encourage and edify one another in prayer.

Lord, make your Spirit and Presence obvious in my life to others by humility. I long to be your light to the world by living a different way - cruciform. Your way Jesus. Amen.

  3. mercy.

Father help me to model forgiveness, I desire it to be my second nature. Grant me the courage to continually choose to forgive instead of judge. Grace upon grace - keep making me a woman of grace, for your glory alone. You are worthy. Amen.

  6. purity. Give me a clean heart, O Lord. Purify my desires, my actions, my words, my motives. Help me to reflect you - that is the desire of my heart. I repent of anything that brings dishonor to your name and that separates me from you. Let me live as a light for you and your kingdom.
