Why a site about prayer?

The purpose of this site is to encourage us to each go deeper in our prayer life. One way that we do that is by praying together. Another way we do that is by praying individually yet collectively on the same prayer themes. Our hope is that as we share prayers and reflect on them and pray over them at the same time in our individual lives, the Holy Spirit will speak to each of us and allow us to encourage and edify one another in prayer.

Prayer of St. Teresa

Govern everything by your wisdom, O Lord, so that my soul may always be serving you
in the way you will
and not as I choose.
Let me die to myself so that I may serve you;
let me live to you who are life itself.

    You are the one does the work. I don't have to try harder to follow. You are the author and perfector of my faith. You, Lord, are the one who governs me with wisdom. Lead me. Shape me. Transform me by your Holy Spirit of truth. I surrender to you so that I might live for you alone. You are mighty to save, faithful and true. In your light I have life itself. Thank you God. Amen.
