The purpose of this site is to encourage us to each go deeper in our prayer life. One way that we do that is by praying together. Another way we do that is by praying individually yet collectively on the same prayer themes. Our hope is that as we share prayers and reflect on them and pray over them at the same time in our individual lives, the Holy Spirit will speak to each of us and allow us to encourage and edify one another in prayer.

Name of Jesus Prayer
by A.W. Tozer
Our Father in heaven, the name of Jesus resonates in my heart, and I never tire of whispering that name in the stillness of my worship and praise. May that wonderful name be the theme of my life. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
Yeshua. This prayer pulls me into the place of simplicity. Jesus, you are real. Jesus you are here... Now. Bless you Jesus. Love incarnate. Love. Jesus, my life. Yeshua.
“My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” -Galatians 2:20 NLT
When I pray about the brokenness in our nation, and the level of hate that results in the terrible crime of this past weekend, the only way I can pray is to just say "Come Lord Jesus." Jesus, your name holds all of the power, and your presence is all that we need. You are enough.
“For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.” Colossians 1:19-20 NIV
This morning as I read this prayer I feel connected to all of creation. I wonder if all of creation neverendingly whispers, hums... Jesus. Way, truth, life.

ReplyDeleteJesus. Jesus. Jesus. Whispered again and again. A complete prayer in one word. The name that is above all names. Thank you Jesus.

ReplyDeleteJesus. Absolutely necessary. Absolutely enough. A saying of Sylvia Gunter.
