As I pray this prayer many times each day, Lord, I find myself wanting to add to it simplicity. Not because the added words change the meaning, but because I can't help but express in worship who you are and who I am without you. Thank you Jesus.
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, Son of the Most High God, Son of David, have mercy on me, for I am a sinner.
